Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp swept midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain off his feet during their win over Leicester City.

The former Arsenal man only came onto the pitch for 18 minutes as electric winger Sadio Mane was substituted off.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has enjoyed a revival over the past few games as Klopp has trusted him with more minutes from midfield.

Despite scoring against Swansea City, he was sent back down to the bench as Philippe Coutinho was pushed back into midfield and James Milner was handed a start.

But that didn’t prevent Klopp from grabbing the English player and spinning him off his feet like a Dad at a playground.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund gaffer is known for his passionate take on football and this is another one to add to his growing collection of examples that demonstrate that.

Oxlade-Chamberlain looks tiny in his embrace and appears to be literally swept off his feet by the German’s delight.

After falling behind to a Jamie Vardy finish in the third minute, Liverpool had to work hard to take the lead – which they did thanks to a Mohamed Salah brace.

Salah scored in the 52nd and 76th minutes to give the Reds a valuable win in which they had to graft to come from behind.

The transfer of the Egyptian is fast looking like one of the best bits of business all season, and nobody could have predicted how many goals he’d score.

After taking his tally to 17 league strikes this season, the former Chelsea man is proving that his early form was no flash in the pan.

Defences the league over will be frightened by his deadly mix of pace and finishing ability, although Burnley would have been releaved to see Salah substituted because of injury fears.
