Liverpool fans are getting out of control creative with memes of cult hero Ragnar Klavan and the Reds side.

After scoring the winner in the 94th minute against Burnley on new year’s day, Klavan has become an internet sensation.

There has been a slow-burn appreciation of the Estonian brewing for some times now, but it’s exploded out of the woodwork thanks to recent performances by the ex-Bundesliga man.

Reds supporters suddenly can’t get enough of the eastern European, who’s brought joy to their hearts over the Christmas period.

And as a result, droves have taken to Photoshop and are competing with each other in order to bring the most creative and wacky Klavan memes to the internet.

There have been mock-ups of the defender being presented as a Barcelona player, while fake film posters involving his glorious closely shaven head have risen out of the netherland like Klavan rose to nod in that equaliser.

His cheeky grin and sideburns have even been featured alongside fellow goalscorer Sadio Mane in a wack Beauty and the Beast re-imagining.

It has all given some festive cheer to Liverpool fans, who are bouncing after taking six points in just a handful of matches in situations in which they would normally crumble.

The first came after going a goal behind against Leicester, while Burnley have historically given the Reds trouble. In times gone by, being pegged back to 1-1 with less than 10 minutes on the clock would not have inspired a fightback. Now it does.
