Liverpool transfer target Thomas Lemar should chose the Reds over Arsenal and we’ve delivered five reasons why.

The Reds are extremely interested in bringing in Lemar as a direct replacement for Philippe Coutinho as Anfield chiefs prepare for his departure, wrote the Mirror.

AS Monaco had accepted a bid for the Frenchman from the Gunners in August, said the newspaper, but the deal couldn’t be done in time and now a January purchase could happen.

Arsenal have wanted the 22-year-old for some time now, but he should chose to join Liverpool over the London side.

The player would prefer a move to Merseyside (as per the Mirror) and bringing him in as a direct replacement for Coutinho would help to smooth over his loss.

Barca don’t look like they’ll back down anytime soon in their pursuit of the former Inter Milan man and so planning for a future without him is prudent.
