Emre Can

It’s starting to look a lot like German midfielder Emre Can will not be running out at Anfield next season after contract talks have not gone well.

The Manchester Evening News have linked Can with a shock move to Liverpool’s all-time rivals Manchester United.

United may wait until the end of the season and bring the player in on a free, or offer cash in January to speed things up.

However, the IB Times reckon Juventus are in poll position to sign Can and even wrote that the player and club have reached an agreement.

Losing the midfielder will be less of a blow now that Naiby Keita is moving to the club next season, and the signing of Leon Goretzka would also help to mitigate this loss.
