Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino

There could be more bad news on the way as Liverpool are preparing for life without Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, said the Express.

Well respected Spanish football expert Guillem Balague said that the Reds’ negotiating stance made it a lot easier for the club to say no the next time, but that Mane and Firmino would eventually go.

It certainly gives the side more time to try and sort out a replacement, as the rumours for Mahrez suggest. But Liverpool do not want to be a selling club for much longer.

If they have designs on the Premier League and progression through the Champions League, then the departures of their best footballers need to stop.
