No.1: Healthy Squad

This is Liverpool’s huge plus over Manchester City right now. The Reds will be very close to full strength on Sunday with Mohamed Salah figuring to be ready after missing the last two games with injury.

Alberto Moreno is also expected to be available. Daniel Sturridge may also return and there is a possibility that Jordan Henderson will be close enough to be involved. That will leave Nathaniel Clyne as the only long-term absentee.

Salah is the key figure. Having him available takes the Liverpool front line from an Audi to a Ferrari. If we have any chance of dominating City we will need the threat of our top scorer on the right hand side.

Manchester City on the other hand have a handful of injury worries. The big news is that Gabriel Jesus will miss the game as he is out until March with a knee injury. Bernard Mendy will also not be ready after his long-term knee injury.

There are question marks over Kevin de Bruyne, David Silva and Vincent Kompany. If recent history is anything to go by, Guardiola will risk de Bruyne and Silva. However they are not at full fitness and Liverpool could take advantage in the central areas.
