No.4: Better Squad

Much has changed since Liverpool last played Man City. That game was the first out of the transfer window and there where huge questions from Liverpool’s summer business. There was much consternation that the Reds had failed to sign a center half. There were also doubts about the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and his suitability for the squad. Heck, people were wondering if Mohamed Salah was even a good finisher.

Those three issues have all been resolved. And emphatically so. Liverpool now have their center half and he had a pretty good start to his Anfield career on Friday. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is quick becoming a fan favorite and had been instrumental in gaining wins in our last two games. Fans are very impressed with his set piece deliveries. Sorry Jordan Henderson.

Mohamed Salah is the absolute main man. He has 22 goals for the season with 17 in the Premier League. He recent had a dry spell. That lasted about a game and a half. He is now fully settled in the squad.

Man City have only had to integrate Kyle Walker into their outfield first team this season with Danilo, Mendy and Bernardo Silva all laying squad roles or suffering injury. This time around the Reds will be ready too.
