Liverpool have been linked with a number of ins and outs over the past week, even as the transfer activity appears to be quiet.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is in no rush to strengthen the squad and that’s come under some scrutiny following two disappointing defeats.

After losing 1-0 to Swansea City and then falling down against West Brom in the FA Cup, the Reds are staring at a mini slump following the sale of Philippe Coutinho.

That’s led to increased calls to sign a replacement for the Brazilian, but there aren’t many players of that quality around.

There is one new name to crop up on the list and a few deals for some talented youngsters, but nothing for first team ready players.
