Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

7. A quiet first half from Salah who was trying to find room in the gaps of the Terriers’ back five formation. Showed off his work ethic by helping Joe Gomez on the few time Huddersfield broke into our half. Convinced Jimmy Milner to let him have the penalty which he tucked away. Not the best pen though. Hope we are practicing them before the Champions League returns.. Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH

8. Tried his best in the first half to get on the end of the endless stream of crosses that Liverpool were attempting. He is not fit for that job and the quality of delivery was not good enough even if he was. Once Liverpool remembered how to play football he got on the score sheet again. 19 goals and 12 assists this year for the Brazilian.. Center Forward. Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO

SADIO MANE. 6. Where has his first touch gone? Did it go to Barcelona as part of the Coutinho deal? Slow and sloppy up front in the first half and gave away a silly free kick which led to Huddersfield’s best chance of the half. Did the business by connecting with Firmino to grab assist from the striker’s lat first half goal. Had two more chances in the second half – a header just wide and a waywars shot off balance. Part of his issue is that Moreno and Coutinho made life easy for him on the left. Needs to build better connections with Robertson.. Left Forward. Liverpool
