Every Liverpool transfer rumour graded on their BS levels

Liverpool have been linked with a number of players over the January transfer window.

And as it comes to an end, our count as the number of speculations at 14. Some of these were legit, other complete flash-in-the-pan jobs that were never likely to come through.

Most of them originated after the team was suddenly flush with cash following Philippe Coutinho’s sale, but it now look like manager Jurgen Klopp will want until the summer to spend it.

The positions that the club need to improve are well documented and there have been plenty of links to goalkeepers and wingers.

Klopp may well need to sign another senior striker in the summer, so stay tuned for that to become a thing.
