Liverpool payed out a frustrating 2-2 draw in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Spurs.

Refs. Jon bloody Moss and whoever that lino is robbed Liverpool in a frustrating draw in the Premier League. A 91st Mohamed Salah goal looked to have won it before a 94th minute Kane penalty meant the Reds split the points.

Jurgen Klopp made two changes from the side that beat Huddersfield in midweek. Joe Gomez missed out with an injury so Trent Alexander-Arnold came in at right back. There were two mild surprises in the side with Dejan Lovren starting nest to Virgil van Dijk over Joel Matip who was benched and James Milner who kept his place in midfield.

Mohamed Salah got the game off to an excellent start after he picked up Eric Dier’s woeful back pass and tucked it away past Lloris with ease. As the game went on Liverpool regressed further into a defensive mentality.

Eventually Spurs got a breakthrough after Karius’ punch fell to Wanyama who slammed it into the top corner with blistering force. An offside Kane dived for a penalty which Jon Moss awarded but the keeper save Kane’s poor penalty.

Then the crazy last three minutes. An incredible Salah goal – Messi-esque in execution – gave Liverpool a late lead. Erik Lamela runs into Van Dijk and the ref waves play on before the worst cheating assistant you ever saw waved his stupid frickin flag for the second wrong penalty of the evening.

Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Spurs:

LORIS KARIUS. 7. It is a rare thing to see a Liverpool keeper make multiple saves in a game this season. The German number one did well in the first half with a couple of solid saves. He came out to make a great save in the second half to deny Son. He came rushing out and timed it to perfection. Some discussion about his punch for the Spurs equalizer; maybe he could have caught it but the punch made it 30 yards out from the goal. Was a little foolish to come rushing out for penalty but he made an excellent save from Kane’s spot kick.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool
