Liverpool. EMRE CAN. 7. Played another 90 minutes at the base of the midfield in another quietly decent performance. He has played more time than any other midfielder the season and is the least rotated of the central options. Forming a nice connection with van Dijk; helping each other out on and off the ball. Still hoping Liverpool can come up with a contract he will sign.. Center Midfield
6. He does his best work when he transitions defense and attack but has a habit of slinking too deep when we have a lead. That maybe his instructions but it can often sap some of the energy and determination away from what often starts with such purpose and vitality. The wait for an away goal continues and will go on for a while if he plays this deep.. Center Midfield. Liverpool. GINI WIJNALDUM

6. Restored to the side after being on the bench against Spurs. His performance today was a continuation from lat Sunday’s substitute appearance; underwhelming. You get the impression that constant rotation is not going to help Oxlade-Chamberlain grow in the central midfield position. Needed a calmer presence on the ball when Liverpool were conceding possession. Made sense that James Milner took over from him after an hour.. Center Midfield. Liverpool. ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN
