Liverpool: New bromance has fans swooning

The new bromance between defender Dejan Lovren and attacker Mohamed Salah has got Liverpool fans swooning.

Lovren and Salah appear to have become best buds and have confirmed their relationship during the warm weather training camp in Marbella, Spain.

After a picture of the lovebirds was posted on Reddit, Reds fans have decried a confirmation of their bromance and are swooning all over the place.

Like when the nerd gets the hot girl at the end of every rom-com ever, people are rooting for the underdog in Lovren and are delighted its finally worked out.

But will manager Jurgen Klopp rip the two apart just as they’ve both caught feels? The central defender is definitely under pressure for his place in the side, but appears to have shrugged off the challenge of Joel Matip for his place next to Virgil van Dijk.

The former Schalke man looks to be the third choice center back after Lovren has upped his performance levels in recent games.

He’s now started 18 times in the Premier League and has kept his place in the back four for the last four fixtures, including the massive Champions League game.

But his partner Salah needs no introduction and could go down as one of the best signings Liverpool has ever made.

With 22 Premier League goals in just 26 appearances, he became the quickest player to score 20 goals in the league in just 25 games – which is two quicker than the pace set by Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge.

Salah has almost matched the number of goals Robbie Fowler hit in the division during one campaign with his left foot, said Liverpoolfc.com, and will almost certainly go past that.

The Reds have a little break before their next league game sees them take on David Moyes’s West Ham at home. That will give the Egyptian plenty of time to plan his next record breaking haul.
