Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has melted hearts thanks to his latest social media post.
The former Arsenal starlet was pictured with his best mate ahead of the club’s Champions League game against Porto on Tuesday night.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is fresh from an good performance over the weekend as the Reds beat Newcastle United, managed by ex-favorite Rafa Benitez, beat the Magpies 2-0.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane both hit the back of the net, with Oxlade-Chamberlain providing the assist for the Egyptian’s strike.

After a tricky beginning to his Liverpool career, the midfielder has slowly become a more important part of manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans and has now started 12 league games and has three goals and five assists.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has frequently been criticized for a lack of end product, but Klopp has shown that there is potential within the player that can be coached out of him. In his short time at Anfield, the Ox has already shown that he can provide goals and assists for the club.

There is bound to be some changes made to the side for the Tuesday night Champions League clash, and Oxlade-Chamberlain could be one of those who makes way for someone like Adam Lallana.
Whatever happens over the course of the season, it looks like the 24-year-old is going to have a bright future at Anfield. His energy and industrious running combined with a more lethal touch will prove to be incredibly useful down the track.
But at least he’ll be well rested after spending some quality sofa time with his doggo, who looks about as comfortable as the Ox on the sofa.
