4. Romelu Lukakwho?

You may have missed it but the Belgian striker played at Anfield in October. No, really. He was the one lumbering around after long balls when he wasn’t keeping Dejan Lovren’s pocket warm.

In Lukaku’s last eight games against Liverpool he has one goal. That goal was for Everton in the derby game that got Brendan Rodgers fired. He has never scored against a Jurgen Klopp Liverpool side.

Many are noticing that he doesn’t score against the top sides. He has been a flat track bully this year scoring 13 of his 14 goals outside of the top 6 sides. He got one against Chelsea recently but they are fading fast.

For comparison, Mohamed Salah has 24 goals in less minutes (plus more assists) including 7 goals against other top 6 sides. The ‘Egyptian King’ is a big game player while Lukaku is a slightly better Christian Benteke.

You can include the addition of Virgil van Dijk as further evidence that Lukaku will perform another disappearing act on Saturday. There is some threat in this Manchester United but none of that is from Lukaku.
