What United fans are saying about Liverpool clash
Liverpool go away to Old Trafford to take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
United are notorious for their defensive approach to big against under the Special One, and Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp has got his forward line purring – it’s shaping up to be an excellent game!
Klopp is fortunate to have a full squad, minus Nathaniel Clyne, available to him. Mourinho should get Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly, although not Anthony Martial – said Liverpoolfc.com.
A few United fans have taken to Reddit to post their opinions. A few seem pretty rational and a few are, well, there’s a broad mix of characters on there.

"Downvotemeimliberal: “I think it’s worth remembering that tomorrow might be pretty defensive. It’s a good thing. You might not enjoy it to watch, but if the game finishes a scummy 0-0 and Liverpool batter us in every aspect but the scoreline, we’re still above them in the League.”TheOriginalJunglist: “I’m hoping that Mou will play a formation to how he did for the last half hour of Palace. Three at the back and everyone pressing the opposition in their own box. We can’t let Liverpool bring the game to us, we have to go our guns blazing.”rupertdyland: “United are going to get their pockets ran.”"
"RaymondShoots: “Sanchez Master-Class Incoming. Double for him.”Tehcoon89: “No matter how we play good or bad we won’t lose. I’m pretty confident. Their cockiness will cost them tomorrow.”"
The team selection that Klopp goes with will be really interesting. The Red Devils have a formidable attacking arsenal, but will they be unleashed? Does the German gamble that they will not and select his own attacking side?

By bringing in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gini Wijanldum, Klopp will give Liverpool more going forward, but at the expense of defensive stability. We might need this to unlock a stubborn defense, though.
Similar decisions need to be made over the right-back role. Trent Alexander-Arnold is a more attacking player, but Joe Gomez is the better defender.

With United sitting in second place, just above Liverpool, this could be one fixture that goes a long way to deciding the eventual outcome of the league. Mourinho will want to hang on to that position for dear life, so a defensive setup is expected.
