EMRE CAN. 6. Left the game early with an apparent hamstring injury after 27 minutes. We will wait and see if the German will miss any time. That will be a big blow to the Liverpool midfield with a huge month ahead of the Reds. Liverpool have two weeks before their next game so he has time to get fit. A bad diagnosis could mean this was the last time he appeared in a Liverpool shirt!. Center Midfield. Liverpool

7. Making his 200th league appearance for the Reds, the captain had a mixed game. Misplaced two passes and missed a tackle in the first half prompting an inevitable twitter meltdown from his haters. However everything else he did was tidy and positive. Clearly better when not in the deep role and Emre Can is there. If you took the time to complain about Henderson today after what Salah did then give your head a good ol’ wobble.. Center Midfield. Liverpool. JORDAN HENDERSON

7. Nice 70+ minute run out for Gini who has missed games with illness. A nice stroll on the Anfield snow to ease him back to fitness. No-one rates him more highly that Jurgen Klopp. The manager trusts him to go out there and implement his game strategy and keep Liverpool ticking over in the midfield.. Center Midfield. Liverpool.
