Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

10. Already as good a season we have seen from a Liverpool player in the Premier League era and he has no intention of slowing down. A brilliant first half with two great finishes. The first was all his own creation; putting Britos on his Britass and burying it with his right foot. The second was all pace, timing and composure as he met Robertson’s cross with an emphatic side foot for the two goal lead. Grabbed another assist after putting another Watford defender on his backside and crossing for Firmino’s cheeky finish. More Watford defenders on their arse for his hattrick and then he slammed home the rebound from Ings shot.. Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH

He loves playing against Watford. His work rate and effort was there from the first minute. He had a good strike saved in the first half but came into his own as the game opened up in the second. Made the best of Salah’s cross – which was slightly behind him – by flicking the ball with the inside of his thigh for a quality finish.. Center Forward. Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO. 9

9. Will have few headlines but put in a really good shift, especially in the first half hour. His good work centrally got the ball to Salah for the opener before releasing Robertson with a brilliant one-two for the second. He worked hard for the full 90; even when the game was won. Low key a brilliant effort from the Senegalese forward.. Left Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE

Substitutes

James Milner- 7

Made way for the returning Wijnaldum but found himself on for Can in the first half. Helped Liverpool keep control of the game and lead them to a professional victory.

Next: All of Rafa Benitez' Liverpool signings ranked!

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 7

Replaced Wijnaldum and immediately brought energy to a cold and tired midfield.

Danny Ings – 7

Had two great chances, pretty much the only efforts that Karnezis kept out. Would have been nice to get a goal for the lad.
