Twitter has reacted to Liverpool’s 5-0 humilation of Watford in front of a bouncing Anfield as Mohamed Salah netted four times!

Roberto Firmino was the other player to get on the score sheet as Salah assisted the Brazilian’s goal to cap off a brilliant day.

While the Egyptian is now the league’s leading goalscorer, Firmino has hit 24 in all competitions and 14 domestically as he continues his strong showing.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is currently out injured with damaged ankle ligaments, which will effectively rule one of Salah’s challengers out of the golden boot race – although Kane should be back in action next month, as per the BBC.

It was a magnificent day all round as left-back Andrew Robertson continued to highlight his progression under Jurgen Klopp with a magnificent display, including an assist. At the cost of just £8 million, Robertson must rank highly as one of the bargains of the season.

The win also lifts Liverpool into third in the table, seven points clear of Chelsea in fifth – although Antonio Conte’s side do have a game in hand.

Predictably, the result has spawned one hell of a reaction on Twitter and today is definitely a good day to be alive if you’re a Reds fan. Scroll down below to see the best of posts about the win!

Liverpool now have a two-week gap before their next run of winnable fixtures, which include a trip to relegation threatened Crystal Palace on the 31st before two huge games: the Champions League clash against Manchester City and then the Merseyside derby.

With this sort of form, who knows how far Salah can take his Reds career? If Klopp can convince the bearded genius to stay at Anfield for the next three or four years, the sky could be the limit.
