5 reasons Liverpool will finish the job against Manchester City

The 3-0 first leg advantage means Liverpool can approach this game exactly how they want to. Klopp is happy to let Man City have possession and keep them under pressure through harrying and hustling them in their own half.
The front three will do this as well as any forward line in world football. The midfield three that will play on Tuesday – Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – are also excellent at carrying out those instructions.
Many teams try to copy this method of pressing City but Klopp is the master of this tactic and has constructed a team that can implement it. One sign that Man City are worried about Liverpool’s pressure is that Guardiola changed his set up last week to combat the threat.
Unusually for City they had two deeper midfielders in Fernandinho and Gundogan. Sterling went to the bench and De Bruyne went to the right hand side. The Belgian mdifielder was anonymous in the first leg. They will likely switch back to their favored formation at home. And that will play directly into Liverpool’s hands.
