Blood some youth

Again, bringing in Dominic Solanke for either Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah would give some extra game time to a man who needs it while resting an important first team player.

At 20-years-old, Solanke needs to play a lot of games in order to help him improve and grow into his own style. With only four Premier League starts, it’s arguable that the former Chelsea man hasn’t had that.

But giving the starlet two in a row – following the Everton game – would show Klopp’s confidence in the kid and allow him for exposure to top flight action. That’s a win-win.

Solanke is yet to hit the back of the net in the league for Liverpool, but that doesn’t mean the potential isn’t there. During his latest loan spell, for Dutch side Vitesse in the Eredivisie, the striker scored seven times in 21 starts. Not a bad return.

So, Jurgen, show some faith in a forward who left Stamford Bridge because he didn’t believe he would get enough first team chances. Rest a key player. Keep the squad happy. Play Solanke.
