No. 5: Cengiz Ünder

The Turkish wunderkind joined Roma from Istanbul Basaksehir last summer as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, but initially found it hard to get going at the Stadio Olimpico. While the 20-year-old still primarily comes off the bench for Roma and has only scored six goals all season, he has the potential to play a big role off the bench against Liverpool.

Ünder has made an impact in his scarce Champions League appearances, scoring in Roma’s first leg against Shakhtar Donetsk and providing the assist for Kostas Manolas’ equalizer against Barcelona. “The Ündertaker,” as he has been called, is quick, dynamic, and skillful. He can play wide or central, but mostly operates on the right-wing to cut onto his lethal left foot, similar to Salah.

Ünder is not expected to start against Liverpool (Patrick Schick or Stephan El Shaarawy will likely be preferred), but he can be a massive threat in a late game situation should the Reds tire out.

They are just five to watch out for but I’m sure Jurgen Klopp will be ready for all eleven Roma players come next Tuesday night.
