Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH. 8. Another day. Another goal. Kept his amazing scoring run going with another strike. This one was a chipped finish after he gave Ben Foster the belief he was going to get the ball. One quick shuffle of his feet and the ball was in the back of the net.

8. He got his goal and the joy and passion was great to see. It has been 930 days since his last goal for Liverpool and the relief came pouring out when he tucked away his chance early in the first half. Should have had a penalty after being taken out later that half.. Center Forward. Liverpool. DANNY INGS

7. Liverpool’s greatest threat in the first half. Made the goal by fooling Jay Rodriguez before squaring it back for Wijnaldum to set up Ings. Faded in influence as the game went on and was subbed for Oxlade-Chamberlain.. Left Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE

Substitutes

Roberto Firmino- 6

Got to start on the bench after his Man-of-the-Match showing against Manchester City. On for Mane, he helped solidify the win.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 8

An excellent sub from the manager. Oxlade-Chamberlain was heavily involved after coming on and got the assist for Mohamed Salah’s goal.

Dejan Lovren – 5

Brought on late for Mohamed Salah and proceeded to make mistakes and not get close enough to Rondon for the late goal. I hate the late center back sub that Klopp loves so much.
