Liverpool Player Ratings: Forwards

6. Oh Mo. He really should have opened the scoring int he first five minutes when he got free in acres of space. You expected him to score. Stoke expected him score. He expected to score. But his little dink – unlike so many other times recently – curled wide. Ended up playing as a striker late on but limped his way to the finish line after being kicked and booted all game. Should be fine for the Roma game.. Right Forward. Liverpool. MOHAMED SALAH

7. Roberto Firmino had a decent game but was unable to lock the Stoke defense. He has played a LOT of football for a forward this season and this is one of the few games of the year where you felt he wasn’t giving every last drop of energy. Much like Salah was kicked all day. Barely got a sniff from the ref.. Center Forward. Liverpool. ROBERTO FIRMINO

Should have had two goals in two starts but his glorious tight angle finish was ruled out for offside. If he was offside it was a mere big toe that was encroaching. That is enough I guess. Kept fighting in the second half but doesn’t yet the crisp movement of his time at Burnley and we glimpsed before his injury nightmare.. Left Forward. Liverpool. DANNY INGS. 6

Substitutes

James Milner- 7

Got to start on the bench after his Man-of-the-Match showing against Manchester City. On for Mane, he helped solidify the win.

Nathaniel Clyne – 6

Another player lacking in minutes and sharpness. Played right midfield as the team shifted to 442 but was unable to make anything happen.
