Mo Salah was the biggest winner at Liverpool’s end of the season players’ awards ceremony on Thursday night.

It’s been a fantastic season for Liverpool, likely better than anyone could have imagined. The Reds are two games off guaranteeing Champions League football next season, as well as possibly adding a sixth European Cup to the trophy cabinet at Anfield.

With the two biggest games of the season coming up against Brighton and Real Madrid,  the players’ awards are a good chance for players and supporters alike to look back at the best performances and performers of the season.

There have been a number of extremely pleasing individual campaigns, and choosing between players would have been a lot more difficult if it wasn’t for one standout.

Manager Jurgen Klopp’s commitment to youth has seen a few youngsters stick their hand up to be acknowledged in the awards – and there are certainly a few who could have won it.
