Liverpool: Puts Sanchez to shame! The Ox shows us what he’s been practicing while out injured
Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has shown us what he’s been practicing while receiving treatment for his injury.
The former Arsenal man was ruled out of the World Cup and the Champions League final following a knee ligament injury, picked up against Roma – as per Sky Sports.
And it appears that Oxlade-Chamberlain has been using that time away from the pitch to brush up on his musical abilities.
In an Instagram post, the midfielder wrote that he’d been engaged by the club to provide a few sounds that capture the spirit of the Reds.

Oxlade-Chamberlain can be seen playing the drums and the piano. It’s the latter that led to Liverpool fans claiming the Ox was a better version of Manchester United man Alexis Sanchez, who plonked on the same instrument for his unveiling video.
The injury comes at an incredible frustrating time for the Southampton youngster, who had just started to flourish under Liverpool gaffer Jurgen Klopp.

Following his move to Merseyside, Klopp and the player came under fire due to his slow start to the season. But, Oxlade-Chamberlain was afforded time and patience and was beginning to repay that investment.
With seven assists and three goals, the 24-year-old was having his best Premier League season to date. Two Champions League goals, including one thunderbastard of a strike against Manchester City, brought that tally up to a respectable five.
Things are certainly looking bright in terms of his future at Anfield. By missing out on the World Cup, there is an excellent chance that Oxlade-Chamberlain will start the new campaign fresh, fit and ready to slot straight back into the starting XI.
