Jordan Henderson vs Luka Modric

Never mind being snubbed for the England captainship, dependable midfielder Jordan Henderson is one of Liverpool’s most important players and should prove that in Kiev.

The interview that he did with the Daily Mail probably took him up a notch in everyone’s minds as his desire to put the team ahead of the individual shone through.

But now Henderson’s battle will be to win the central areas from Croatian Luka Modric, who is an absolute wizard on the ball.

With just six league assists and one goal, the 32-year-old’s powers could be on the wane. But that doesn’t mean the Reds can afford to get complacent for one second as Modric’s range of passing can dissect any defence.
