Virgil van Dijk vs Cristiano Ronaldo

Two giants of the game will face up in Ukraine on Saturday night. One literally, the other figuratively.

Liverpool defender van Dijk is a massive man and leads the backline with all the force that you’d expect from a bloke his size. Cristiano Ronaldo is a huge figure in the game and has been one of the best players in it for a long time. Who will win?

For van Dijk, it’s a huge test of his abilities. These are the same abilities that made Klopp part with £75 million to bring him to Anfield, and the German will be expecting a good performance from his talisman.

Despite being 33-years-old, Ronaldo is still one of the best forwards in the game and Madrid will be looking to him to drive them to glory. Watch this clash closely.
