Liverpool transfer target Nabil Fekir is keen on a move to Anfield this summer and is inviting a transfer offer with his openness to the Reds.

Liverpool target Nabil Fekir has only just finished his domestic season in France but is already dreaming of playing for the Reds. There is a heap of speculation that the French international – who was named in France’s 23-man-squad for the World Cup – will be heading to Anfield this summer.

Many of the rumors claim the deal is pretty much done and the only hold up is Liverpool concentrating on the Champions League final against Real Madrid this Saturday in Kiev.

Now the player continues to fuel those rumors with his responses to French media. When asked directly about a transfer move to Liverpool the player replied with a ‘Why not?’.

While that is not an emphatic ‘Yes!’ it is a lot more inviting than the usual footballer responses. Most players in his position would just talk about ‘focussing on the World Cup’ or something a lot more political and evasive. Not Fekir. He wants to keep the rumors going.

The biggest rumors right now suggest that everything is already done and will be announced in the aftermath of the Champions League final next week.

It will either be a welcome boost after disappointment or a another shot in the arm to Reds who will still be celebrating well into June!

Usually at this point of the year transfers are the most important thing in the world for Liverpool fans. This year is very different. And that is just how it should be. A fresh European Cup in the trophy cabinet will go a long way to attracting Jurgen Klopp’s top transfer targets this summer.
