Brazil giant Thiago Silva has backed new Liverpool signing Fabinho to be an instant hit for the club.
Silva was speaking while on national duty and said that the Reds’ new man will have no problem switching from Ligue 1 in France to the Premier League.
His countryman has joined the Anfield club in a deal worth £43.7 million, said the Telegraph, as he becomes manager Jurgen Klopp’s first summer transfer.
It was a deal that nobody really expected. It went without the usual Twitter flurry and press speculation. It was snappy. It was beautiful.

After becoming one of the stand out midfielders in the French top flight, a whole host of clubs were tracking Fabinho. But Liverpool managed to sneak him away to Merseyside and out from under their noses. And it’s a deal that Silva thinks will be a good one.
Goal posted a video on Twitter in which the 68 time capped defender is asked about the move. It’s safe to say that Silva pumped up Fabinho’s tires a fair bit!

As well as being an excellent footballer, the new recruit is also meant to be a great person as well. This seems to fit in with Klopp’s two-tiered strategy to sign players who can make a difference on and off the field.
The 24-year-old brings with him a good outlook on life and a marvelous family, said this report. When you pay so much money for someone, there is an element of expectation that goes along with it. But at a youngish age, Fabinho still has time to improve and should be allowed a bedding in process.
