Robbie Keane

For such a good player, Irish international and itchy footed striker Robbie Keane could hardly last at a club.

In the first three years of his career, from 1999 to 2002, Keane racked up five clubs across two countries. Wolves, Coventry, Inter Milan, Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur all had the forward on their books at some point.

Flash forward six years and Keane was being unveiled as a Liverpool player after joining them for £21.60 million from Spurs. Just six months later he was back at White Hart Lane.

What happened next?

That whirlwind season saw the Republic of Ireland legend swap a second placed finish with the Reds for an awful eighth back at Tottenham. Despite a decent seven goal return, Spurs £15 million offer was deemed acceptable and he spent just one more year at the club before being loaned out to Celtic and West Ham.

Keane then ended up at Los Angeles Galaxy and scored 105 goals in just 170 appearances before heading to Indian side ATK. The 37-year-old has six goals in nine games.
