Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of players during June and transfer rumours have been going into overdrive.

It’s been a busy time for Jurgen Klopp, and despite the World Cup rolling on there has been no let-up in the amount of gossip produced by the press.

Some of it may have legs. All of it may have legs. We’ll never know. But one thing is for sure, the Reds can’t end up signing everyone they’ve got on their shortlist.

Since Liverpool announced the arrival of Fabinho from Monaco, things have gone quiet. As fast as that deal has been, the rest of their window has been slow. While the Brazilian’s transfer went through without a hitch, the rest of business has been significantly less smooth.
