Liverpool fans are over the moon with the idea of the latest transfer rumour that involves Paulo Dybala.
Twitter account Futbol Mercado has announced that the Reds are willing to splash around £70 million on the Juventus striker, and supporters have lost their head.
This news has yet to be verified in the mainstream press, while reports from Italy have said that a deal won’t be happening between the two clubs for the Argentina international.
But that hasn’t spotted folks getting worked up about the deal, which would represent a huge outlay for the club and mark a significant statement of intent before the new Premier League season kicks off.

The 24-year-old has emerged as one of the best strikers in the world after a productive spell with the Old Lady, but despite his success at club level he is yet to hit the back of the net for his country.
Dybala has 68 goals and 25 assists in 140 appearances for Juventus – with 22 of them coming during the 2017/2018 Serie A campaign.

Liverpool have an excellent first choice attack, but lack significant strength and depth and this would allow them to field a world-class forward line – even with some rotation.
Manager Jurgen Klopp only has youngsters and fringe players as bench options, and while the potential of Dominic Solanke and Rhian Brewster is exciting, they can’t match the ability of Dybala.
A spend on that level would surely mean the club won’t be able to afford to upgrade their goalkeeper, although rumours surrounding a Loris Karius replacement have begun to die down and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Klopp will give the incumbent a second chance.

Fan fury surrounding his Champions League final performance should also be negated by the fact that Karius was concussed when he made those costly mistakes – and the stopper will be encouraged by the fact that his manager believes he wasn’t at fault due to those head injuries.
