Harry Wilson

Young forward Harry Wilson is probably one player that nearly all Liverpool fans want to see given a chance in the first team. He had an excellent loan spell with Hull City in the Championship and scored twice against Chester in the first friendly.

Klopp has said that the younger players have to perform well in these fixtures if they wish to remain at Anfield for the coming season, and Wilson has certainly done that already.

The fact that Liverpool have secured the Wales international’s future as he signed a new long-term deal means that the coaching staff hold Wilson in high regard. Klopp has described the forward’s development as ‘exceptional‘, which underlines how well thought of he is at Anfield.

But getting minutes in the Premier League will be tough and the manager will have to trust his young charge 100%. There are loads of clubs who want to take Wilson on loan, said SI.com, but the first team is where the starlet wants to be.
