Ryan Kent

While Wilson had a great 2018, Ryan Kent had a rubbish 2017/2018 that consisted of two failed loan spells.

After failing to impress at Freiburg and then Bristol City, Kent has got a massive pre-season ahead of him if he is to avoid the cycle of loan moves that leads to a permanent transfer away from Anfield.

Former manager Lee Johnson, who had him at City, believes that there is a class player waiting to emerge. “Ryan, let me tell you, is a great player. If you told me he was coming through our academy as a 20 year-old, I’d tell you he was going to be a £10m player in the next few years,” the Liverpool Echo reported that he said.

Klopp has featured the winger in both games so far, and he’s hit the back of the net, so it’s clear that the German is taking a closer look at Kent.
