The wait is almost over. With only a week to go until Liverpool start their 2018/19 league campaign, things are really starting to take shape.

There may still be one pre-season friendly to go (Tuesday, vs Torino), but the Reds appear to have started to solidify plans for the first league game.

Jurgen Klopp named a very strong side for Saturday’s friendly against Napoli, potentially dropping a big hint about his plans for West Ham United this time next week.

With several players only recently having returned from their post-World Cup breaks, the Reds will need to rely on a few squad players to get off to a strong start.

Let’s take a look at how Liverpool will likely lineup against the Hammers:

Goalkeeper

Alisson

There isn’t much up for debate on this one. Liverpool have one of the top keepers in world football on their books and he’s the clear and obvious first choice throughout the season. Alisson starts.
