Attack

Salah, Firmino, Mane

Daniel Sturridge can consider himself hard done by not to get a start if indeed he does miss out. He has been excellent in all his pre-season performances.

The duo of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are a lock. They’ve been back in training and completed enough games for there to be no concerns about their ability to start. Thankfully, they’ve both also looked razor sharp and hungry to get going again.

Roberto Firmino could easily miss out as he’s not been back long; however, his sheer importance to Liverpool’s style of play probably make it more likely he’ll start and make way for Sturridge in the second half.
