The sheer number of different players chosen by the Rush The Kop team is incredibly encouraging and shows that Liverpool has an excellent pool of stars this season. And now I’m going to add another name into the mix.

Alisson Becker could be the reason the Reds win the Premier League this season. There, I’ve said it. Liverpool have quality players going forward and a defense that’s rapidly improving. But with Alisson, they’ve signed a gem of a player. A player who can inspire confidence in the rest of the XI.

As Brendan Rodgers proved to the world, you can’t win a title if your defense is as flimsy as a wet paper bag. The Brazilian goalkeeper will shore that up. This is the campaign to get excited about.

Next. Will the Reds win the Premier League this season???. dark

Of course Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita are going to be massive influences over the course of the campaign. It’s just that Alisson can make the biggest positive change, all by himself.
