The 2018 summer transfer window has drawn to a close and Liverpool have finished their business until January.

A total of 15 deals were concluded, this includes signings and exits. While manager Jurgen Klopp may not have shipped out as many first team players as he’d have liked, there were a number of youngsters who left on loan.

In fact, there was only one cash sale from the senior squad. The rest left on free transfers or were allowed to head elsewhere on temporary deals.

Klopp’s incomings received a lot of press, mainly for the amount of money that Liverpool spent on relatively few footballers. It’ll be hard to separate them as they’re all good transfers, but this is where the fun of the list comes into it.

For the sake of clarity, deals involving players running down their contracts and leaving Anfield for nothing aren’t included – so Emre Can, Jon Flanagan and Jordan Williams won’t be included in this article.
