2. Ryan Kent

This is another loan move that should have been more. Ryan Kent is probably never going to become a regular Liverpool player, as his two failed loan moves last season prove.

Klopp has handed Kent one last bite of the cherry by sending him to learn from Steven Gerrard at Rangers.

All eyes will be on the winger to see if he can make the grade in the SPL, but even if he does, Reds squad competition means he’ll never get enough games to develop.

This is another case of how football marches on and only the very best become first team regulars.
