6. Isaac Christie-Davies

Liverpool signed former Chelsea midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies on a free transfer, and the 20-year-old is expected to link up with the U23 academy.

Christie-Davies had been with the Blues since he was an U11. The youngster was given a one-year deal in 2017, but Chelsea decided not to renew it and the Reds stepped in to snap him up after that expired.

The midfielder played with Dominic Solanke at age-group level, but the chances of him being handed first team chances at Liverpool are slim.

Christie-Davies’ age makes this move seem like a bit of a strange one, as is the fact that he’s never played any first team football. A cheap, low-risk deal. But one that probably isn’t going to work out.
