Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has once again proven that he’s the nicest bloke in the Premier League.

Salah continues to go above and beyond in his contribution to the communities that he holds close. The Egyptian has donated money to fund hospitals in his home country, but also does extensive good work in England.

And another heartwarming story has emerged, and was shared by Sean Brown on Twitter. Salah came under fire for not signing an autograph while stuck in his car during a traffic jam, but promptly made up for it be sending a signed Reds top to the family.

You might think being stuck in your car is a pretty good reason to not be able to provide an autograph, but the forward just keeps going above and beyond the cause of duty to make people happy – and that should be treasured.

As footballers become more aware of their social role, this type of story is becoming more common – which is good. But the day needs to arrive when doing good and making people smile off the pitch is almost part of the contract.

Because on the field Salah is doing amazing work. The former Roma star was named the Premier League’s golden boot in his debut season as he took the country by storm, and started off in a similar fashion with a goal against West Ham during the opening game of the campaign.

Liverpool take on Crystal Palace on Monday night next, and Salah will expect to continue with his good run of form. Manager Jurgen Klopp now has more options in wide areas with the addition of Xherdan Shaqiri to the squad, but you’d imagine that the Egyptian is undroppable.
