Sheyi Ojo

England youth international Sheyi Ojo returned to Anfield after a mixed spell with Fulham, who have since been promoted to the Premier League. Ojo had an excellent start to life in London, but an injury seemed to stall that progress.

Middlesbrough were linked with a move for the winger, with reports indicating that Liverpool would be open to a permanent move. West Brom were quoted £15 million for the youngster, said this report, which would be an excellent deal for the Reds. But clearly nothing came of it.

A lack of consistency during 2017/2018 meant that Ojo wasn’t an automatic pick for the Cottagers, which doesn’t bode too well for his immediate future in the Premier League with the Reds.

Despite that link to Boro, Ojo remains a member of the first team squad but is unlikely to feature unless there is a serious run of injuries.
