Liverpool fans are loving the training ground skills shown off by star man Roberto Firmino.

Firmino was recorded doing sitting down keepy-ups by the club’s media department, who then posted a video of the Brazilian’s efforts onto Twitter.

And supporters of the club have reacted with glee to their favoured son performing those tricks, even if he is yet to hit the back of the net in the Premier League.

Firmino has emerged as one of the best all-round forwards in the competition, and he’s certainly not going to come under fire from Liverpool’s back-up options this season.

He is normally known of his collection of no-look goals, but it appears as if he’s broadening his base and branching out into more street based stuff.

There have been suggestions that the former Hoffenheim man is suffering from taking part in the World Cup – but his game isn’t just about goals and the forward has registered an assist this season.

He’s a very rounded player and Firmino’s record of 50 goals and 40 assists in 146 games suggests that. However, the Brazilian is showing clear improvement as his time at Anfield goes on and hit the back of the net 15 times last league campaign – which was his best return for Liverpool.

However, in all competitions the 26-year-old scored 27 times and assisted 17 others, which is excellent by anyone’s money.

The form of Daniel Sturridge in preseason seems to have convinced Klopp that he doesn’t need to sign another striker, and that would have been vindicated by Sturridge’s goal as a substitute against West Ham.

Liverpool take on Brighton on Saturday – only four days after beating Crystal Palace. This will give Klopp his first real chance to rest players and hand full debuts to Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho, although you’d doubt that Firmino will be one of the one who’ll miss out.
