Fabinho given the time he needs by Klopp

New boy Fabinho is yet to taste action in the Premier League as Klopp decided against using the former AS Monaco man on Saturday. The German is going down the Andy Robertson route by slowly easing Fabinho into the team after making sure he has fully adjusted to Klopp’s style.

The Brazil international will be keen to get out onto the pitch, but it’s clear to see that Jürgen doesn’t want to chuck him in at the deep end, rather make sure he’s fully ready.

Before the Brighton game, Klopp came out and said that the adjustment was tricky for the lad, but also mentioned that Fabinho is improving at a good rate.

This is a shrewd move from the German manager, who knows he has the required cover at the moment to allow Fabinho to have this settling-in time. We can only hope that it pays dividends when he is eventually given his chance in the side.
