No signs of Mo slowing down

After last seasons dominance of England and Europe, it was always going to be tough for Mo to repeat his heroics. He has certainly got off to a great start, with two goals and one assist, as well as one penalty earned.

Salah wasn’t allowed acres of space in behind a rigid Brighton defence, but the one big chance he got, he took with aplomb. Played in by Roberto Firmino, the Egyptian made his left footed finish look easy, planting it to Matt Ryan’s right comfortably.

The former Roma man also made six key passes, the most in the game, in an all round solid performance from Salah.

Whilst many doubted him ahead of the season, with the term ‘one-season wonder’ becoming overused, the star man has carried on where he left off. He’ll have to do phenomenally to build on his 44 goals from last season. However Salah is more than capable of it, and his start to the season has suggested that. Long may this form continue.
