Edinson Cavani

89. Really? Edinson Cavani is good, but he’s also 31-years-old and starting to slow down ALL WHILE playing in the best team by miles in a weakish league.

So Cavani’s goal return of 28 in 32 Ligue 1 fixtures is definitely impressive, you can’t help but think what it might be in a stronger league that doesn’t have one team hoovering up all the best talent.

The Uruguayan also failed to hit the back of the net in key Champions League games against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich – and when it comes to the crunch you need those stars to display some serious big match temperament.

This rating is a little bit high, but Cavani is still a top player. Something closer to 85 would probably have been more appropriate.
