Midfielder. Liverpool. GINI WIJNALDUM. 7. Gini Wijnaldum was in the best way you can put it, average against Chelsea. Definitely was not at the levels of what he has been this season, but it was not a terrible game from him either. The Dutch midfielder is always strong on the ball and made it difficult today for the Chelsea players to strip him of the ball when they got the chance. Nevertheless, needed to be a bit more creative in the final third, because at one point the midfield just ran out of ideas.

8. This will be a rating people will argue or disagree with but James Milner was far and away our best midfielder. He could not do much because he did not have much help from his counterparts, but he was trying his best to create. I thought his passing was spot on, and defensively he was excellent. The 32 year-old had a couple of barreling tackles that really saved Liverpool from some dangerous situations.. Midfielder. Liverpool. JAMES MILNER

Midfielder. Liverpool. JORDAN HENDERSON. 6. One of the poor performances of the day, Jordan Henderson fails to rate highly with myself for the second game in a row. I disagreed with the choice to start him in the first place, in regards to Naby Keita, and he proved me right. Once again, it was a show of sideways passing that lacked thought or creativity. Immediately when Keita came on, things changed and we began playing more vertically. It is becoming more and more apparent to the fans that Henderson may be the weak link in the team.
