6. Another poor performer, Sadio Mane was not on form at all. His touch was abysmal, several times just dribbling straight into a blue shirt. Even the Senegal international’s passing was off against the Blues. The former Southampton winger failed to create much at all for the Red men, and probably should have been taken off.. Forward. Liverpool. SADIO MANE

ROBERTO FIRMINO. 7. An alright performance from Roberto Firmino, as some spurts in the game were a little better than others. At the beginning, he was linking up play but as the game moved on Chelsea tried isolating him, and it killed our offense. He became less and less involved until we were wondering if he was even on the field. The Brazilian forward did have a chance about halfway through the second half on a header he drove into the ground that was saved by the foot of David Luis.. Forward. Liverpool

7. Not a great game by any means for Salah, but he did not perform out of sorts. He got his chances and put himself in very threatening positions for the entire time he was in the game. Surely, he might have scored some of the chances last year, but that is honestly irrelevant. That is the sort of pressure that takes players down instead of building them up. His best chance was when he beat the keeper with a heavy touch and had to hit the ball with his weak foot at a tight angle, allowing a Chelsea defender to get a foot on it. Once Mo gets a little of his confidence back along with some luck, he will be right back on form like last year. Believe that.. Forward. Liverpool. MO SALAH
