No.4 – All The Pressure On The Hosts

Liverpool are undefeated in the league and Europe while Napoli have two losses in Serie A already. A crushing loss to Juventus at the weekend leaves them six points adrift of their rivals. Can the Italian pick themselves up to face the Reds?

Their first fixture of the Champions League group stage was a 0-0 draw with Red Star Belgrade. They would have been hoping for maximum points against the Serbs as Liverpool and PSG will be much tougher opponents.

A loss for Napoli tomorrow night will put them in trouble in the group with one point from two fixtures and the two toughest away games still to come.

They lost their manager Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea this summer and replaced him with Carlo Ancelotti. The heralded new manager was brought in to take them over the line and finally win Serie A and help them progress in Europe. An underwhelming start to the season means much more is riding on this game for the hosts.
